......eat what you like, without any restrictions, what would you choose to eat for a meal....?? What do you miss...??....

I often read through the threads but haven't contributed much.....I value all the advice I've seen as its often very helpful but how about a bit of fun....??

I think I'd have a ginormous jacket potato with baked beans and cheese......then, to follow, an even more ginormous slice of vanilla and lemon cheesecake or maybe a huge portion of cookie dough ice cream.....

What about you...??? :p

If I want something I will have it even if it means I will have to punish myself for an hour afterwards on the running machine to keep the levels down. Seems to work at the moment just hope I don't get an injury. It is what I call exercise to my meter

Te one thing I haven't had for 4 months now and often would like is a snicker bar (marathon for the oldies). Maybe one day...

crusty white bread and butter, then crusty white bread toasted with butter, then crusty white bread with butter then ...
Do you just want the crusts andy?

Very large steak & kidney pie with puff pastry, roast potatoes cooked in goose fat, onion gravy, leeks, roasted parsnips. For afters, hot apple crumble ( with cinnamon ) and vanilla ice cream ! Washed down with a pint of ice cold pear cider :-)

Got it all planned out.
Brekkie: almond croissant
Lunch: crisps and dip
Artisan bread with butter and cheese
Treacle tart and custard
Really good white wine

Aperitif: Hendricks gin and tonic and peanuts
Dinner: pizza, dough balls (some salad to be healthy - :hilarious: )
Loads of yummy white wine
Cheese cake or tiramisu - hang on! As this is virtual, why not both :D
Thorntons continental
A trip to A&E :(

Oh and I'd go to the cinema in the afternoon and have Haagen daaz with loads of dark choccie sauce!
Hang on, I tried that diet and I gained 6 stone and diabetes!
Hello my names Scandichic and I am a recovering high fat, high carb, high sugarholic!

oh yes treacle tart - I wonder how many hours of penance that would be

Must be slightly warmed with cold creme anglaise or cream. And very deep.
I'll just book my trip to A&E now!
What about risotto? I'd forgotten homemade risotto!
:D

Brekkie - bacon with white bread rolls and fried bread and baked beans. cup of tea

lunch - brown bread rolls with salmon and cucumber. 2 packs plain crisps. chocolate bar, raspberries and ice cream and coke to drink

evening meal - roast beef, lots of roast potatoes, runner beans, processed peas, cabbage, Yorkshire pudding. 2 glasses of wine. Hot fudge sundae and cheese and biscuits

but I had roast beef, roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding last weekend. I consider that low GI because of all the fat ;) and I only peaked at 5.5 so seems good for me. Although the hot fudge sundae I didnt do just replaced that with a coconut and almond flour muffin with a scope of vanilla pod ice cream. For my second pudding I went and swam a km

So you have to think of something much more extravagant.

How about a pack of crumpets with butter dripping through them or english muffins with apricot jam just oozing out of them or even apricot crumble and custard and follow it will have to be bread and butter pudding made from Andy's left over white bread

cooked roast with mashed potatoes/swede,roasties,followed by rhubarb crumble or apple pie and custard

A big slice of cake, from a lovely cake shop, I would eat it all...
Then I would sit in a sweet shop and eat everything all the sweets and chocolate in the shop ......

A Cornish pasty (flaky pastry of course), followed by hot fudge cake with ice cream and a dash of cherry brandy liquor, and a cherry coke!

Sound great but I think you've gone too far with the white bread rolls and the mushy peas! Lol! :hilarious:
