Animas pump and CGMS

Hi,
Does the Anima Vibe come with the capability to work with a Dexcom G4 CGM. Or do you have to pay extra for this capability.

I already have the Dexcom G4, so if my hospital orders me the Vibe - will i be able to use the CGM feature - or will i have to pay extra for this function

I know on the Medtronic, you have to pay extra for the CGMS on the pump

Just ask for a vibe that is cgms enabled, your hospital should be able to do that. They come in two versions with one enabled and one not.

The 'uninabled version is for kids you should get it automatically

The sad part is that you (and I) didn't need to have shelled out £1200 odd for the Dexcom G4 receiver, when we could have got the Animas Vibe, with built in CGM receiver/monitor, for free. :-(
