I felt foul most of yesterday with a stinking headache that just wouldn't quit, despite paracetamol and a walk. I've been doing LCHF all week, with hardly a carb passing my lips, so maybe this was the carb flu I have read about.
I'm certainly not feeling the weight 'dropping off'. so far ( know it's early days but a couple of kilos would have been heartening). Thinking back, in my old Slimming World days I rarely lost on Red Days. Are some people less compatible with low carb diets? I hope not, as calorie counting is not for me.
On the plus side: feeling better today, though still a bit woolly-headed and tired. Discovered riced cauliflower last night and can see that becoming a regular feature on my plate. Even my husband liked it - with his potatoes!
Breakfast seems hardest. Haven't bothered with anything but coffee with sweetener and cream yet. Yesterday's eggs, scrambled with cream and cheese was tasty, but a little nausea-inducing.
Onwards and upwards.
