Plain full fat Greek generally have the lowest carbs, or try fromage frais, either plain or have a look at the weight watchers ibes off the top of my head they ran at about 5,9g carbs per 100g

Onken Biopot Natural Set Yogurt is creamy and delicious, it's quite low in carbs at 4.1g of carbs per 100ml serving.

Anyone knows if it's possible to find Turkish or Russian yoghurt in UK or a Greek with higher fat than 9-10 g/100 g, looking for a really fat one.

Try Lidl for the Greek Yogurt, not sure of the fat content mind.

I use easiyo too but the unsweetened ones. Had a look at the stevia ones today in Lakeland and sugar is also listed in the ingredients.

Yes, but much less than in the normal yoghurt. The ingredients list is of the ingredients in the dry packet, not the final product.

Because the sugar is added before the yoghurt beasties do their thing, it is mainly converted into beastie-poop, and not left as sugar.

I only spike with commercially prepared yog, when the sugar is added after the little poopers have done their thing, leaving the sugar un-converted.

Your mileage may vary - always worth BG testing.

Will continue dreaming about a russian yoghurt that you can buy in Sweden with 17% fat, would be great for dessert

I have a pot of Liberte 500g plain Greek style yoghurt and I have added to it 2 satchels of cadburys Options mint chocolate . Will this still be classed as low carb?

I think each of those sachets is 5.4g carbs ( mostly sugar I'd guess) and Greek yogurt is about 4g per 100g of yogurt so if you are planning on eating the whole lot today yourself, I'd not call it a low carb option.

I was annoyed yesterday at Sainsbury's because they had sold out of all forms of real yoghurt and they only had low fat / no fat types, or added sugar types (same thing). Twenty or thirty types of yoghurt and nothing I could buy. I thought supermarkets these days were supposed to be super high tech at spotting what is in demand and putting it on the shelves. Clearly a lot of punters want full fat plain yoghurt and Sainsbury's are pushing low fat **** that isn't selling.

End of whinge!!!

its like have you tried buying it in a tesco petrol station etc or a smaller local version of the supermarkets? they always sell yogurts and loads of them but never the good ones :(

a little pot of yogurt would be perfect for when i get caught out hungry

The garlic and cream cheese sound great, but I'm not keen on mould.
