"A new you in 42"

Yep! Obsessive is good definitely, it's the ONLY way I achieve anything at all.

Hubby has just said that I am looking slimmer. I think I am going to cry.

I have been out walking for an hour this morning, although I did stop for a while to just stand and watch the sunrise, but at least I've done my 30 mins today and I will do more than 30 mins ironing 'cos I have heaps to do.
I admire the standing watching the sunrise part. Sounds so peaceful. I am afraid that by the time I drag my sad butt out of bed it is almost time for sunset.

Just away to do my hour in the pool, aqua fit. Followed by a bit of supermarket fartlek.
I did it! An hour intense workout, made me too breathless to talk, which cheered the other in the pool. Bonus. New swimsuit which fitted perfectly in the shop this week was too big. Not sure if the water stretched it, but I did have one or two 'wardrobe malfunctions' which meant a large part of my exposed anatomy slapped me in the face. Shame I bought two of the new cozzies, and washed them before wearing to the pool, so can't exchange them. Not unhappy though, as it just feels so good to be able to go and buy some smaller ones. Gloat, gloat!

Followed hour water workout with a 15 minute fartlek stint around supermarket. Good job nobody knows me around there. Red faced, soggy haired weeble woman tearing up the aisles. Haha, feel great.

How is your day going Pipp?
Good enough thanks zand. I am on a high with exercise and ignoring the fact that in the last two weeks I have only lost half a kilo.
Perhaps need to rethink the diet.
Hope you feel good today too zand.

Don't cry. Acknowledge he is righy. Soak up the compliments, ignore any criticism.

Oh, is that something else I am doing wrong? I normally ignore the compliments (on the basis that they are probably not true) and soak up the criticism (so I can do something about it) I am still crying about it, I wish he hadn't said anything.

Ah, zand
You really are doing a tough time right now.
Just keep posting, and reading back all you are achieving.

..not long been up, still coming to, morning all :) ....twistboard, skipping rope and that **** 'mind of its own' bodyblade are on the menu when I get back from work this evening, and the usual walk at lunch time, lost just over 2lb this week...all thanks to jamrox as she made me get off my butt...:D

...BTW I want to get some flax seeds...have tried Asda and Sainsbury's but no luck....we have all the supermarkets here so someone must stock it., does anyone know...?
Sorry for my ignorance, but what is a bodyblade? I thought it was for shaving.

2 1/2 hrs staggering round Fountains Abbey. I'm sure it wasn't so hilly when I went 25 years ago. Too worn out now to do anything other than eat my tea and wash up.

...It is if you're a giant...;) Its hard to describe, about 4ft long like a flat narrow oar... you hold it in various positions while standing still and it vibrates and exercises your muscles and core, it doesn't sound like it does much but it does, you have to build it up from a few minutes to start with as its tiring.....oh my god have just read what I said, its sounds like something that should be in a different type of forum but there's no other way to describe it!!! :wideyed:

@ cold ethyl thanks for the information about the flax seeds re Morrisons ...:D

Edit ~ and Andy too, showing my ignorance, didn't know they were the same thing..:arghh:

Now it makes sense! Surely that's :
This is no ordinary crab. This is marks and Spencer's line caught Scottish wild crab.....
Once in a lift in marks and Spencer's. Floor announced by husky woman and I couldn't help myself. Quite spontaneously I piped up in a lift full of strangers....
This is no ordinary lift....
No, this is a marks and Spencer's lift. Everyone laughed..... Hopefully not at me!
