Well! I once saw Kenneth Branagh's bottom and it wasn't in A Midsummer Night's Dream ;-)
Best wishes for your daughter's preparation and recovery. Xxx

Never seen him live but in lots of plays and films and have always thought he was great until he started messing with Wallander. Then wanted to throttle him. I can't understand why you would go all the way to Sweden, have things like the newspapers on set in Swedish then mispronounce all the names - especially that of the lead character. He alters the story in some cases. My hubbie changes channel because I end up getting so cross. Plus he's managed to make it so boring. That really is quite some feat!Ha ha
I went to see him in King Lear about 22 years ago. He hardly had any clothes on. He was still married to Emma Thompson at the time. She was brilliant as the fool, absolutely superb! King Lear was played by Richard Briers (The Good Life).

It was a bad time during most of her teenage years Andy but shes well now, just finshed second year at college and is going to take a year out , have her surgery and go to Uni.
She is young for 20 , I think shes probably 17 in her head.
Ulcerative Collitis is a horrible disease when its bad and I don't think people realise that its not just needing to go to the loo alot. It affects your joints, your eyes and a whole host of other things. But like I say shes well now and that's what matters
Thanks for your kind words

I've seen 3 different wallanders and I like the present one best. I cried at the end of Saturday's episode. Didn't like the bigger, fat one that I once saw because he gave me the creeps. Present one much more like I imagined when reading the books. Haven't read them all yet.
Thank you, such is life. As soon as I am able I will make up for lost time.As ever I admire your fortitude Pipp in striving to do whatever you can manage.

I like the sound of your mum.Thank you, such is life. As soon as I am able I will make up for lost time.
I am the tortoise from the Aesop fable 'tortoise and the hare'. My lovely, wise, deceased Mum used to tell me that tale when I was very small and struggling with some aspects of school. 'Slow and steady wins the race'.
Thank you. She had a wonderful philosophy. I feel privileged when someone says I am like her, which doesn't happen too often as I am more like my pa, who had addictions and spoke his mind. Gets me in trouble sometimes.I like the sound of your mum.![]()
Ah yes, seated exercises, think I will use them for my final 4 mins of the 30 for today.25 mins on the bike and some easy tummy toning exercises in bed, plus Pipp's 7 minute seated exercises. If they were the easy ones, heaven help me.
