Had to go out and buy new T-Shirts today - they no longer have an X in the size

thanks Zand- just a bit of a frivolous thread really - I have been wearing my XXXL but I actually started to get comments about them as my shoulders where coming through the neck hole.

You will be there soon

I am kind of in between XL and XXL at the moment so at least I have lots to choose from!

So that's good - soon it will be L and XL and then M and L - won't take too long and then you will be getting all the builders whistling at you ;) Bet they do that now don;t they

I wish!;) - well maybe in my dreams.:)

If you have it flaunt it I say, what a journey .............even though I have lost 8kg every time I wear something I feel very happy all the cloths just fit me know. Enjoy those shopping trips, you must be very happy with what you done. Do not buy load of size M's now as couple of months you may need to shop again for a small size.;)

Plus the sales should be on then? Also charity shops have some great buys too. Good luck to you both:D

Yes they have all my great buys - overstretched t-shirts, trousers that will fit a clown. So much material for such a little price!

I still have my 'big' clothes as I'm not yet fully confident they will never fit again!! It takes some getting used to when you lose a few stones after being so much bigger for some time, I am finding. When I look through a catalogue I still find myself still looking at size 20/22 instead of 14/16 , and I still have another 1.1/2 stones to lose, so don't know what size I will be then....

Well done you. I can't imagine losing that much. I watched my sister's wedding video on Sunday and I was the same size 18 years ago as I am now. I have been wearing size 28 clothes for at least 25 years. I can't imagine having the sort of choice in clothes you can get. If I manage to follow in your footsteps I'll be able to pick stuff off the rails in supermarkets like my sister does.

Nothing made me happier than going down one size and then a second in pants and I cherish each and every item of clothing with an M on the tag. Onward and downward!

I didn't set out to lose weight, Rosie, I had accepted the size I was as diets didn't work for me (now I realise I was eating the wrong things!). I lowered my carbs right down, to the amount I had been eating, and the weight just started to come off. It came off quickly at first and now it has slowed down and some weeks I don't lose any. I am going to reduce the carbs a bit more to try to kick start losing the final 1.1/2 stones now. I test my BS before and 2 hrs after each meal and have learned which foods spike me, and I try to remain in the non diabetic numbers, though I will have an 8+ now and then. For me this is the only way because if my BS goes too low or too high I feel rather odd.

You will get there.x

Right another pay day and more new clothes - 32 inch waist shorts :woot: - from 46 inch originally and they tucked under my belly (such a nice image I have given you)

Well done, I just been through hubbys wardrobe today and chucked out any clothes with an L in them!!!
I am very proud of him and so enjoyed relegating all these clothes out of his wardrobe!!! He keeps saying that he won't buy more clothes till he his ideal weight, but I decided otherwise.... The clothes were literally hanging off him.
To see him last night in clothes that are too big for him as a medium was great.. Can't wait for the last 1/2 stone to disappear off him.
