I found out I'm prediabetic just over 6 weeks ago and almost immediately I cut back on my carbs and reduced the amount of sugar and sweetener I was having. I did lose a small amount of weight to start off with (a couple of pounds) but I very quickly reached a plateau and then started regaining that weight. It's now creeping up even more and I'm still exhausted. I went back to see the doctor and told her my symptoms and she ordered another blood test, this time checking for thyroid and anaemia instead of just the FBG and HbA1c. I should be getting the results back next week but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for increasing my energy?
