I do not have diabetes
Ciao, I've not been diagnosed as diabetic but diabetes runs in the family & I've been experiencing symptoms on & off for nearly 2 years. Keep getting bloods done by GP to be told that everything is normal but family & friends with the condition are telling me my symptoms are conducive with Diabetes or at least a tendency to episodes. Was hoping for some advice! Sorry if my presence on here offends anyone as I don't actually have the condition diagnosed but didn't know where else to turn! :-)

I'm sure no one will be offended at all.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for being kind enough to reply :-)
Unfortunately, I collapsed on Monday evening & was taken by Ambulance to hospital where I was told that the symptoms & problems I've been experiencing are Neurological. I'm now waiting for an appt for an MRI & further tests & they've ruled out Diabetes.
Obviously, I won't be needing the advice on Diabetes after all but I'm touched by everyone's interest & being so friendly!
I wish you all good health, look after yourselves!

Ciao :-)

I'm pleased you are getting to the root of your problems, even if it was a traumatic way for the doctors to take notice. Good luck with your tests.
