Oh yes.
Unless this is room 101, and for eternity you are stuck with just me for company.
So, how are you now after your eventful week?
Me? In 101?
I offered to arm my crutches and go in with her but no response..........Me? In 101?
Is that even possible?
Actually, it's @Heathenlass I'm worried about.
Haven't heard from her since she was preparing her equipment for the foray into The Room.
I hope she didn't go in and forget her ball of string to find her way back out
She should have waited for back up!
I could have done something! Fetched more ironic popcorn! Waved from the safety of my sofa! Made encouraging noises!
Something!
Why didn't one of you stop her? Or go in with her!
Some friends you are.![]()
Am I counted as one of the ladies now that I have vented on this thread?
Just paracetamol at the moment. Think the codeine helped cause the puking in the first place. Might be willing to try a lower dose tho cos paracetamol is not cutting it anymoreMaybe an honorary lady, provided you keep up the hard work!
@MrsB
Ow ow ow! That sounds awful. Haven't they given you morphine? Or heroin? Or something? Clearly you need more of whatever they HAVE given you.

Nah, I'm back .
With a nomination.
High Street chains of womens wear that do not stock a half way decent plain black skirt. That is not zebra striped lycra. Or itchy polyester. And doesn't cost the annual budget of a small country to buy and it's not bloody worth it cos having a fancy smantczy label does not justify it or hide the fact that it's made in the same sweatshop as Primark. Who also don't have one decent skirt

Which them? IKEA or the deserters?Wonder what happened? Personally I quite like them
My disposition is quite sunny today (unlike the weather here)
Yes fleas in. Did your mother mean you should steam the dog?So how is everyone?
I'm feeling MUCH better. Virus beating a hasty retreat.
But I nominate fleas for 101
Either the cat or the dog have brought them in (I suspect the cat, he is generous that way) and so I treated both beasties, felt pleased and forgot about it.
A week later, we still have them. Not on humans, not anywhere visible, but the dog is still scratching - which means he is picking them up somewhere. And since he is treated with a long lasting treatment any passenger that hops on will be dead in 4-12 hours. But they just keep coming. Poor little sod.
My mother had an excellent suggestion - steam!
So I expect my weekend will be steam cleaning - carpets, skirting boards, under furniture...
O joy.
IKEA had some great furniture from then for all the bedrooms. I'm a bit weird and love putting stuff like that togetherWhich them? IKEA or the deserters?
