Pipp I had great fun dancing , every thing from Take that , Billy Ocean , Meat loaf , guns and roses and madness. It was a 40th lol.

Good company and a wee refreshment :)
Haven't managed to be active today because of things I can't go into. Ill make up for it tomorrow.

Oh dear.

I am taking it slow today too.

Not feeling too well again, but will try to fir in my 40 mins with Pilates, which I am quite getting used to, and physio, which is boring me.

Missing lots of people here.

I wouldn't do that now (or even 10 years ago) - 'Dad dancing' is just too humiliating. Do you girls suffer from the stigma of 'Mum dancing'? Probably not!

Didn't manage anything yesterday, but walked for at least an hour today, and will do a session of the rower an hour or so after dinner.
 
I think us girls just don't care , we just dance lol

People still talk about my dad's dancing to Hong Kong Garden at Mr E;'s fiftieth- I say go for it and be legend in your lifetime.
 
So had a trip out to Silloth of all places- not a lot there and was too windy to get out of the car for me! So quick walk round Cockermouth instead- will go back there as Wordsworth's birth house open and we are NT members.Did about 20 mins walking, found a nice bookshop with coffee place in back so warmed up then came home, made dinner and hopped on bike for 20 minutes( plus 5 this morning waiting for Mr E to get ready).

Yes try and get out or I'd go even more mad than I am already. Too cold and windy to paint- it really has gone wintry here. I've been warmer in December. Thinking about lighting woodburning cooker tomorrow as kitchen has no heating and feeling chilly sitting here- suppose it is burning fat to keep me warm!

We haven't put our summer quilt on yet so ill be warm enough with the 13 tog and my hotwater bottle aka husband lol
 
I'm even finding it chilly here! I went to football without a jumper and froze
 
Zand you'd need a winter coat here today ...we need a jumper nearly every day lol

I might make an exception for Siouxsie - but the legend would only last for my lunchtime.
 
Been out for a 40 min walk today. No jumper, so I walked quickly. Glad I don't have a dog to dawdle along with - I would have frozen out there it was quite windy:)
 
T shirt weather here! Well it was yesterday when I did my walk [50 mins], not ventured out yet this morning...:wideyed:
 
It is blooming freezing here..

Well today is my birthday (49) and I got this lovely watch.
I also got a waterproof walking jacket and a pair of padded shorts for my bike. .my family know me so well.

We went to Glasgow to exchange the jacket as it was the wrong size.
Went to Decathlon ...I can't believe how excited I was in there, I could have spent a fortune , thankfully my husband had sense and said we ll wait till after pay day lol.
When I think about a year ago when I was not doing any activity/ exercise etc , feeling rubbish and just really getting to grips with the big 'D ' ,
I honestly think I am a different person now , a happier , healthier person. A person who now cares about how she looks, and loves feeling well. I go to parties and you can't get me off the dance floor , I walk up hills and run back down.
I have an exercise bike , a cross trainer and little weights, and I actually use them.

If this is a midlife crisis then hooray for midlife crisis.

Now what can I try now...line dancing , ballroom...ooh going on Google lol

Thankyou are , you lovely lovely supportive non judgemental people. I honestly couldn't have achieved anything without you all. Xxx
