Sporty Forty.e t

I have to confess to being glued to iPad and forum for much of the day.
However, I have managed 2 x 6 minute walks, 15 mins toddling about with the dog, throwing the ball and bending to pick it up, 11 mins physio exercises, and a supermarket sweep of 27 mins.

Pathetic offering, but still recuperating from sore throat earache and allergies.

Must do better tomorrow.

Its easy to get stuck on the forum at the minute xc
Well I got contact lenses today for the first time.
Only wore them for 2 hours as instructed. Difficult getting them out but I will persevere.

Cheated abit with activities today if im honest but at least I did some things for 40 minutes while listening to the referendum debate.
Played with my weights , did some leg pulses stomach tightening , pelvic floor type things.
Hopefully will get out walking tomorrow , we ve had lovely Irish family visiting so the time has been spent with them , love them to bits.
Hope its a bit warmer and drier tomorrow, it has rained in Ayrshire since Saturday.

20 mins on bike in short bursts ( my numb bum has turned into a very painful one!) 10 minutes stretching and toning and then lots of ironing. Was going to go out this afternoon but had a duvet day instead as fibromyalgia flared up. Whoever thought doing the Desmond course in one 7 hr lump is a good idea needs head examining as I couldn't move this mornng.

Went out yesterday, slipped in mud, landed on knees and startled some poor bloke by shouting ******** loudly. One kind runner stopped and asked me if I was ok. I was standing scrubbing the mud off my knees with handfuls of grass so he probably thought I'd escaped from the nearest hospital!
Didn't get out today as had 3 hours of maths in preparation for teaching it in September so was too late after dinner which didn't get eaten till gone 9pm! :(
Would rather have gone for walk!

Mr scandi is cruising for a bruising! He has suggested the following maths questions (see previous post). If Mrs Scandi weighs 183lb, how many lbs does she need to lose to fit in a size 12 dress? If Mrs Scandi falls on her knees at the top of a hill, how far will she slide before stopping?

How about,
If Mrs Scandi swings her fist in a perfect arc at Mr Scandi's head at a speed of 70mph, how many days will it take for the black eye to fade?

Mr scandi likes this! He is lying here chuckling! Grr!

Let me know when you have the answer, then.
If that fat face sz 16 dress is anything to go by - never! I have lost at least half a stone since buying it and it still doesn't **** well fit! Sz 12 ha, ha, ha. To quote the beetles "when I'm 64!"

How are you getting on Jamrox? I wore hard/gas permeable contacts for over 30 years but went back to specs a few years ago. Are you on soft ones? My daughter quite casually gets novelty contacts for Halloween, New Year etc.

Mostly doing 30-40 minute walks at the moment, with a bit of rowing.

Would love to do that on a school day and not say anything! :D Imagine the number of kids you could freak out! Am I an evil teacher or what! :hilarious:

Sanguine ive just put them in for their 3 hour stint today. Work has been manic so not long in and I want to try them watching tv.
Im sure once I get the technique right they will be fine. Still need reading glasses though.
Not looking forward to attempting to remove them at 11 . Cut my finger nails so I don't scratch my eyes lol.

Only managed 15 minutes so far but hoping to play with the weights.
If I don't I promise ill more tomorrow.

I think I may be about to be banished.
I managed to go out for a leisurely lunch, but wheezy asthma prevented any other exercise than moving my jaws to eat and talk for two and a half hours.

Going to have to build up slowly to the forty mins again. I think I overdid it before.

Very very disappointed in my lack of effort here. Tomorrow I will begin with five minutes of kicking my own bum.

Did about half an hour walking. Too sore to get on bike. Saw some lovely ones with big padded seats at leisure centre when I attended my DESMOND course. Maybe I need to ask for one for Xmas now my own padding diminishing. Back on wall of doom tomorrow as wind has whipped hessian protecting it from rain against it and eroded some of it off as it wasn't yet set enough. So no more coats is now two more coats then a few weeks off and two more top coats. I hate it.

Oh that wall of doom sounds a curse. Can you get anyone else to assist?

What about trying out the leisure centre bikes when you get a chance. I don't know how you manage on any bike with all the wall of doom stuff though.
