Hello low-carbers,

I remember purchasing a book from antiquarian bookshop entitled "The Drinking Man's Diet" which advocated a low-carb diet washed down with booze. It was a take on a popular Victorian diet pioneered by an undertaker, no kidding.

But the idea of eating a large volume of fatty meat swimming in grease, like the meals you get in a one star hotel in Blackpool is not very appealing or healthy sounding.

I took to the drinking thou.

But I'm open to persuasion, my usually breakfast is cornflakes and toast or cornflakes and a glazed doughnut. so what do you suggest?

Please remember I'm no Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen, I use to leave that cooking to my partner. But now i been single for some time.

so what simple low-carb breakfast do you recommend?
