Guess what, I'm off to buy the Miracle book!

Brunneria, I enjoy reading your successes and it gives me a lot of inspiration for different ideas to tackle my own diet, thanks and well done!
Good luck if you buy and try the diet, it works for me, im on stage 3 and slowly reintroducing carbs, as I've lost enough weight

Thanks science for sharing your vital statistics. They're pretty good! Well done.

Are your cholesterol levels ok? I don't know the ranges so no idea!!

Keep up the good work!

Well back from docs and very pleased with my latest results, but I think I can push them to be better, and hopefully reduce my medication even more.
I have stopped morning insulin, have reduced my Metformin from 4 x 500mg to now be 2 a day, and reduced my nightime insulin, ideally would like to stop insulin and up the Metformin again, anyways these are my last two results

Just need to work on my waist circumference :)

What fab results! I hope you are very chuffed.

@Brunneria have you seen Dianne Kress's metabolism cookbook? Do you know if this is useful too? Ive read the blurb on Amazon but Im not sure. Thank you

I don't, I'm afraid.

I may well get it though, although I have learned not to buy kindle cookbooks - very difficult to cook when the ipad keeps switching itself off to save battery!

If you get it, please let me know if you like it?

So how much carb do you eat on stage 3? And what are your BG levels now?
Thank you so much for recommending it!

Bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee
Burger lettuce, mayo, tomatoes, onion
Meatballs with courgetti.
Cinnamon mug cake and cream later.

Didn't measure carbs when I previously made meatballs and have a feeling I've gone over my 30g carb today.

Oh well!

I'm happy with them as they are going in the right direction

Cholesterol: should be 5.2 or under

Triglycerides: should be below 1.7
HDL (good) should be above 1.6
LDL (bad) should be below 1.8

This is what I'm led to believe / seen, so got some work to do but I'm happy, maybe someone else with more knowledge can shed some light.
Though I do know someone who had a level in their 30's over ten years ago and they are still going strong aged 80+ so who to believe

Sooo, day 5:

3 x 97% meat sausages (5g carb after I gave a bit to the dog)
Brie and me Porky's scratchings. Not the best.
Peanut 9 bar
Astonishingly huge meal of pulled beef, asparagus, broccoli and grated cheese. Left it a bit late to start cooking, so portion control went out the window.
Strawberries and cream
Peanut butter at bedtime.

Tired tonight, but still feeling great.

I feel as if I've lost some weight.

I felt thinner today and may brave the scales tomorrow...

Keep going! Xxx
