To keep the weight down, thats whyI used o stop ... between cigs.
ha's what you've done.
It was that easy your still puffing away doesn't acually make any sense P.
But I am immortal lolI hope all the new non-smokers are doing ok. I know there are lots of statistics online about how quickly the body detoxes from some of the nasties, but I can't find anything but this stupid Stoptober campaign at the moment. My point is, however, that even a couple of days clears the system. Most of us will have started smoking as young and stupid immortals (or so we thought). Even as an ardent smoker I accepted that I would never have started as a rational adult. I hope that if I ever do get the urge to start again that rational part of me will turn around and say 'Are you f"£$ing joking?'
@Helsin,Good for you JohnD54. Personally I was quite sanguine about reading that my smoking habit could cut my lifespan by about 10 years. Most of those would be the gaga-sitting-in-a-wet-patch ones, I argued. Then diabetes enters the equation and takes another 6 off (correct me, if I am reading the more scaremongering articles). It was all getting a bit personal.
Why not give it a another go.Im a smoker, gave up for a year put too much weight on so started again
Gave up on Champix it was very easy.
Are you really stopped rden66?. I last smoked about 12 years ago (thats a guess) but I could murder a fag.
But why choose?Turns out diet is more important to us than smoking.
I'm in. Will quit on either October 2 or on the Monday after, depending on if I have to work the weekend or not.
Feel rotten now. Really rotten. I know it is only withdrawal and it will pass.
