I do not have diabetes
just wan to ask a question dear frens. How to identify the last dose of insulin in insulin pen either it is enough for injection or no.
 
ON the Novopen 4, it will only dial out to the maximum remaining amount in the cartridge when you get to the end. If your dose is bigger than this, then you'll know.
 
Pens such as the Novopen Echo have a built in memory function, it says what your last dose was and how much time has passed since you last injected.

Not strictly true daibell. On the novopen 4, it will only let you dial up to the maximum dose remaining in the pen when you are near the bottom of the cartridge.
 
I use the Humulin M3 Kwikpen and it will only let you dial up to what is left too. I just do two injections if there is not enough left.
