Yes it does. I always get a relapse or bad few days this time of year..I've been busy as well cleaning the house ready for the family staying christmas week. Doing the tree ect
It will settle I'm sure. I'm resting today
Opps !. There's daft Nuthead blaming Microsoft again. (Bit of a habit)..

post lunch 6.5 ( again very close to a 25 minute stint peddling- I'm better letting it settle a bit but going out so everything shunted together today) a hearty bowl of carby soup- lentils, parsnips, carrots and swede.

Only had 2 strips left this morning so
before brek 6.4
after dinner 5.4
No exercising and no walks today. Just a nice relaxing day until a few minutes ago when I realised I had to sort my tablets out for this next week.........................boring:(

8.9 before breakfast
9.9 after

Was too busy at lunch and forgot to test!!

6.2 before dinner
6.7 after

Pre Breakfast 6, 2hrs after breakfast 7.4
Pre lunch 5.9, 2hrs after lunch 5.8
Pre evening meal 6.3, 2hrs after 8.1

But here the catch, between my after lunch 5.8 and pre evening meal I took another BS (had a bit of a wobble just did a test just to check) and that test came back at 5. I had nothing but flavoured water in between, what caused the 1.3 jump??

Didn't Post Yesterday so.............
Yesterday...............
5.7.....Fasting
5.5.....2hrs After Breakfast
5.5......Pre Lunch
6.0......2hrs
5.8......Pre Dinner
9.4*....1.5hr
5.3......2.5hr ...............
3.8* ....6hrs cheese on a ryvita then Bed.
4.4 .....At 5am

This was 1 high* & 1 low*, a roller coaster, at a social event, no choice what I have, 2 tiny new pots marble size, 3 very small roasts, some carrots, stuffing & gravy, rest was OK green beans, turkey rolled in Bacon.

Desert I had 3 level teaspoons of Eaton Mess which included 3 swollen sultanas plus sipping 1 pint of beer, so probably all in all 9.4 at 1.5hrs was not too bad.

Having seen this 9.4 figure, so went onto red wine then got the low 3.8 felt perfectly ok, but still took no chances and had some cheese.

Today
5.2 ........Fasting
5.3 ........2hr
5.0.........Before Lunch
4.9 .........2hr
4.7........ Before Dinner
7.0 ........1hr Testing 1 wholemeal Pitta Bread, Today with some Peppers & chicken with curry paste
8.3 ........2hr Won't be having a whole Pitta Bread again.
More testing to follow

More Testing to follow continued.....................
8.5.......... 3hrs Got to do something about this number (did forget to mention the can of larger which was part of the test) 10.50pm now gone for a brisk walk returned 11.15am
5.6...........I'll settle now for this, PITTA BREAD wholemeal is off the list the my most favorite foods.

testing and learning huh Neil :)

Hi Mike, Yeah thought I test again the Pitta bread, first time was all ok, second time I know I was spiked, I don't keep records so I don't know how much. Then this time spiked again.

What may have been in the mix is the exercise I may have well walked the first time I ate one. Because the walk I took was a mere 15 mins at a high pace, in the drizzle and wind.

It not easy keeping all this information and the number on course, it starts to rule your life that's what gets to me.

Cheers, Neil

Keep it up mate ... your overall numbers you've been posting look good (in fact better than good) overall and that's 3/4 of the battle. The rest is just "mind" :)

Best Mike

Many people keep a spreadsheet, or use an app, to record their information. I use myfitnesspal for my food and I use the BGStar app to record my bloods. The BGStar app allows me to add notes, including one click options I can set for repeatable specifics. Then, you can look back on robust data not misted my memory.
