Hi there
Even though I feel like I've had type 1 for ages now, and even though I'm very disciplined in carb counting and BG testing etc, I still have a lot of hypos...
I'm very confident in carb counting - I can usually judge how much insulin to give myself by just looking at a plate of food, and I can go a couple of weeks without a hypo.
But when I eventually do have a slip and have a hypo, the pattern then continues and I'll have hypos for every day of that week, with me not really being able to work out why.
Does anybody else find this, that once you've had a hypo, you'll continue to have them every day for a few days? And is this just a common occurrence in diabetes? Do hypos come on for no apparent reason?
