Today I've had

Brunch: 2 boiled eggs, a Meyer lemon

Dinner: Planning Mexican cauliflower rice, Quorn fillets and salad. Maybe a jelly.

OH made a quiche with soya flour base,( 1st time), Turned out Gggggrrrreat, once the pastry base had been pieced together when placing in the dish, lol. Just need to sort out the pastry binding with egg or something to hold it together. But yes as 1st try came out great in the end & had more or a taste to it using soya flour & not the same old refined flours. Even she was surprised at the taste.

B: scram eggs and chorizo
L: beef with too much chilli! :inpain: Sugar snaps and caulicheese
D: cheese. Just cheese. A lot of cheese. Beautiful, beautiful, garlic roulade, St Agur, Edam, and something polluted by fruit and spices.

There may have been the odd M&S choc too...

Feeling good though, so not too many chocs ;)

Sounds delicious. I have a lot of cheese calling me from the fridge but it will have to wait till after my 800 cal day tomorrow. Tonight the dark chocolate Santa took a bit of a hit.

For got, she used the leftover cheeses from xmas so was a good mix of cheese in there. yummu.

Had lunch made for me today and it was interesting that someone elses portion size is now equivalent to two of my meals. I was easily able to split the lunch for there to be enough for today and tomorrow.

Breakfast bacon mushrooms benecol drink
Lunch 1/2 oz cheese, 50 cals worth pate , carrots, celery, slice ham and pickled onions
Dinner as it's a 800 cal day I know exactly what I am having - savoury mince made with carrots and swede and onions made into cauli mash topped shepherds' pie with savoy cabbage , pickled cabbage and some beetroot.
Snack decaff soy latte

Probably coming in around 830 cals today but I may do some peddling later on to offset a bit depending how stuffed I feel after dinner.

B/L: 2 poached eggs, smoked salmon, spinach, hollandaise. 2 of my son's nuggets *slaps own wrist*
D: barbecued chicken breast, salad of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, spring onion, feta, with olive oil. Steamed brocolli and courgette with a bit of butter. Tablespoon of peas.
Snack: small piece of cheddar.

Surely you were just checking the nuggets were cooked.....its excellent parenting.

I think I overshot the 800 target on my first dairy free day yesterday. Was peckish in the evening so had an avocado.

Today:

B: buttery omelette with Quorn chorizo
L: creamy decaf with some peanuts
D: veg lasagne low carb style

Bully cat from next door sneaked in today, broke my favourite egg cup then scarpered. Grrrrrr! :bored:

Looks delicious. What do you use in place of lasagne sheets?
I did another day today. Probably went over by 80 cals but I did burn 135 peddling so all not lost. Next day will be Monday I think as too much lovely stuff in fridge for weekend meals.

B - 2 x herta frankfurtas
L - some corned beef and smoked cheese slices
D - chicken fajita without the wraps and some naughty Ben n Jerrys
snacks - peanuts, celery filled with peanut butter, small bit of 85% choc, cheese slices.

I used courgette ribbons in place of pasta and used a flourless cheese sauce. It was a bit soupy as there was no gluten to make it stand up like a regular lasagne. But is tasted authentic.

I should do some exercise, but have a sick note on account of my cough  Honest. Did you see the video about the guy who ate butter and his pants fell off? He looked so toned. He had a cross trainer in the corner of his room. So do I. Difference is he uses his and I don't

Not watched that yet. I try and do 30 minutes every day on my exercise bike. I ought to start using the abs frame thing I bought as I need toning more than anything.
I like to use courgette too. I make a sort of moussagne using ragu sauce , courgettes and a yogurt , egg and cheese topping.

B: porridge made with Almond milk and a dollop of cream. 2 coffees with cream
D: 3 rolled ham and cream cheese with baby plum tomatoes and a spoonful of cheese coleslaw. Checked bg after 2 hours as I was starting to feel cold and shakey, at 4.2 - I seem to start hypos in the low 4's. Had two helpings of oats, yoghurt and cream with raspberries. Feel much better now but will probably suffer the consequences with a high bg in the morning

B: cuppa tea and cuppa coffee, both with cream, then 3 slices Gouda before dog walk
L: a strange combo of diced chicken, mattersons sausage, Brie, tinned toms, courgettes and peppers
S: bag popcorn (6g carbs!)
D: same as lunch

And the last of the chocs. Only ones left were the silly high carb, sickly ones - caramel, fudge, fondant... Chucked them.
