Hello all

I have been browsing the forum for a few weeks so decided it was time to sign up and say hello.

I've been type 2 for 12 years now, diagnosed at the age of 13.

Over the years I've been on various medications but have recently been put back on insulin, novo rapid and insulatard - mainly because we are eventually thinking of starting a family so need to get my HbA1c down.

Anyway that's enough from me, I look forward to speaking to you all.

Hi and welcome. It's very unusual to be diagnosed with T2 at 13 so you are one of the unlucky ones. As you are trying to get your HBa1c down are you on a low-carb diet which many of us find helps with BS and any excess weight.

I'm pleased you like it. I love the countryside Mike, you should see the longest thatched roof in England, I pass it every week on my countryside job, it has a thatched wishing well and even the bus stop is thatched :joyful:
