Lol, you are funny. I walk and run in the pool. I have very bad arthritis, so walking in water is much better on my joints. The pool is good because the water provides resistance, but because I feel lighter I am able to do much more. I love getting in the pool, it takes away the pain.
Ah, makes sense now. Silly me  hadn't given hydrotherapy a thought . And the water resistance increases the effectiveness of the exercise too..... :)

6,1 mmol this morning

Unusually cold weather (for Cyprus that is) making it all a struggle.

Not so easy getting out of bed and going on a walk when it's 5c and wet. Not to mention that carbs seem more attractive the colder it gets! :-(

I can't even begin to comprehend how people in places like Canada can cope. Guess they are made from sterner stock than us soft southerners.

Keep well and keep warm!

On a happier note, just weighed in at 88,7 kg, which means that at the end of the holiday period and a trip to Dubai, I am only about one kg or 2 pound up. Happy with that as I should be able to take that off pretty quickly!

Getting sugar counts back down to pre holiday levels is my priority though. I would really like to get under 5,5 fasting levels again, although under 6 is my first target!

Glad to see you back. Was wondering if you were ok after you got back from your hols. A little post holiday blues after your lovely break? Wet, dark and mayb 5degrees out.....going back to bed because I can. Feel for those that have to brave the elements of the day so early.......

5.7 again this morning......not going to winge as @Clivethedrive will give me lines again!
Update o my daughter, saw our preferred gp again last night, he's agreeing the headaches more migraine like and issued a stronger more head focused pain killer, amitriptyline, which should also help with sleep, back at end of the month to review and if no improvement then arrange a ct scan. He did comment she didn't look well and had lost weight, but had a nice talk to he about school and when jokingly mentioning a boyfriend she said she doesn't have one yet and he said the boys must be blind, so that was a nice retort! Seems a better night for her last night too so fingers crossed......

4.7 this morning, and the scales going the right way still.

That was after the baked beans at lunch yesterday, and a couple of Coors Light with dinner.
Back on the Ryvita for breakfast, and the calorie counting continues

5.1 on this incredibly wet morning. Even I aint going for a walk in that. Did 6 miles walking yesterday though, plus an hour in the gym with my mate. Spent most of the time working on flexibility of my back using this pipe with protrusions sticking out of it which I put under back. Ouch how painful was that. Certainly loosened the back though.

What's a 9 bar please....?
9Bar's are amaxing... i blame @Brunneria for getting me hooked on them (thank you)... here is a link (I hope it works) to their website. http://www.9bar.com/

You can find them in some supermarkets but I have started to order mine direct from the factory as it works out cheaper. You will have to test which ones work for you...

Actually, at the 2 hr mark I was down to 7.7 :)
