I'd like to thank you all for all the help and advice on this forum. In my 3 moths since diagnosis I have got my blood glucose right down and lost over 10% body weight, all thanks to you.
I have decided to move on now as I realised I was getting too caught up in my diabetes and it is after all only a small part of who I am.

We'll miss you @nancyb and yes, sometimes diabetes does seem to rule your life.

Congratulations, and you are right, there is a lot more besides diabetes.

Do look in from time to time. You have made some valuable contributions to the forum.
 
It is very easy if you care for yourself to let diabetes become a focal point initially.

I so hope you return Nancy.
