Pasta, sorry to me it's vile, yeuch lol (and full of nasty carbs)
Had peritonitis and was souped up on all sorts from Morphine and Propofol in ICU. No problems since 2012 and I think the surgery did me a big favour. Took a long time from having a bag to going back on the toilet.

Resting the bowel can improve things .
Hence your bag time out .
It is needed to give things a rest and time to heal .
A gradual process back to normality .
Even my old hairdresser suffered and experienced the same thing as yourself .
Small world eh .

Little portions work best with me now .
Tiny snack sized snacks kind of thing .

You the same ?
Plus it works with my insulin regime well also .
Small dosage of insulin units too .
Little and often is my new motto ;):)

Very difficult living with a colostomy, bowel was rested for 3 years then rejoined. After three years of not pooing the normal way my back end did not know what had hit it lol. Running to the toilet constantly, not much fun but it has taken a long time and is manageable now :)

Eat small portions regular. They removed the worst, it was gangrenous and I had systemic septicaemia. What's left is a lottery but there are still diverticula on my last colonoscopy.
