That post I made yesterday saying no stress in my life?

Bin it!!

Nothing earth shattering, just a matter of timing!

5.0 this morning
So back to my usual controlled/normal for the first time since coming off the anti bio's two days ago
5.5 15 mins after taking a couple puffs on the asthma/steroid inhaler
So I've learnt a few things
That it's not the infection itself that raises my BG levels
It's the antibio's
Probably, I suspect, by killing off intestinal bacteria good and bad
Also, the asthma steroids in the inhaler raise BG levels
Plus I also think my BG levels went higher due to getting less daylight/vit D
Hi Dibbles can i be cheek and ask what asthma med are you on and are you on tablet steroids?
Take Care

Always the way. Hope things sort themselves.
Oh dear, hope it sorts itself out
Sometimes the niggling things that get to us most..... Hopefully soon resolved

Sorted. Just meant a drive, half way across the county to pick up something costing £12.95, whilst hoping something else I'm waiting for wasn't delivered in the meantime.

Some things are small cost, modest effort, big impact. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Timing is everything. :)

7.0 this morning after a unsettled night chest still playing up:-( but better than it has been. Hopefully home next week :-) if no more fluid build ups.

4.9 Fasting /Breakfast,

Never had this before, Normally mid to high 5s, I am going to start a small test over several days, because I normally take my Metformin with main meal between 7pm to 8pm, but yesterday forgot, so took it at midnight.

Want to find out whether this change in time taken, has helped my FBS

Neil

Good evening troops in the war against diabetes, sorry late post.

Interesting. Perhaps the metformin is counteracting a liver dump.
