I'd say that in reality it's probably too early to be definite, but I'd be astonished if you were losing 7lbs, and 6cm on your waist, but had got fatter. In another month you'll have had more readings and a better trend to look at.
If you understand what I'm saying about losing water will mean there's a higher percentage of fat to total body weight, hopefully you'll be comfortable moving forward. It's a bit like semi-skimmed, and skimmed milk having more carb, per 100ml than full fat milk. That's not because anything has been added, it's because f what's left when the fat is removed from that initial 100ml. 100ml of semi-skimmed and skimmed milk starts off as more than 100ml, so that it will be 100ml when just the fat is removed. Get it?
