Is the pump much better than normal injections?
How come?

Sorry but not really looked into them and seen a lot of people on here like them

You can get better control of your levels and only need to jag every 3 days instead of 6 times a day
Down side you are connected to it 24/7 and a lot of people don't like that

Sorry but not really looked into them and seen a lot of people on here like them

the key thing with the pump is basal/background insulin dosing..............

it is delivered slowly and continuously over the day........with injections you deliver your basal/background in one or two large lumps which will sit there and absorb inconsistently, unreliably and inefficiently.............nearly half of the units you give yourself wont be doing anything........[this figure wont be the same for everyone]...

the pump lets you use pretty much all of the units you give and so you will actually use less basal insulin........

with the basal requirement fulfilled, this lets you tackle you carbs with much ease..........;)
