Breakfast poached egg bacon, mushrooms spelt toast tsp piccalilli
lunch chorizo and pepper frittata from deli with salad and coleslaw ; naughty taste of Mr E's cheesecake
dinner fish done in oven with lemon and butter, green beans, broccoli, pickled onions and few slices of beetroot. Maybe a bit of cauli cheese mash off Mr E's shepherd's pie.
snack small handful dry roasted nuts

B: ran out of yoghurt so just berries and cream today, coffee with cream
L: feta cheese salad
D: not sure, might have some pork loin steaks and have now replenished my yoghurt supplies, so you berries and cream later, hurrah!
Snack: date and walnut bar and tried a coyo yoghurt as recommended by Brunneria :-)

I love this topic!

B... butter, 4 mushrooms, more butter, 2 eggs, 2 dozen spinach leaves, crumbled feta cheese, with side of 2 strips bacon and a coffee.
L... 7 ounce can tuna, 3 T mayonnaise, 6 bread and butter pickles - (half for today, half for tomorrow) - with two slices extra sharp cheddar melted on top; 0.35 ounce 70% cocoa chocolate; water
S... 1 red bell pepper sliced with Ranch dressing on the side; water
D... butter, saffola oil, 1 boneless pork chop, added red wine and mustard for sauce; 8 asparagus topped with sliced extra sharp cheddar; 0.35 ounce 70% cocoa chocolate; water
S... butter, egg; 2 link sausage; chamomile tea

I know this seems like a lot of food but this is Day 5 for me on the LCHF diet, and I'm trying to eat enough to not feel hungry, also to eat at least one vegetable at or between meals.

Tonight I bought 2% plain greek yogurt with active cultures. I need ideas on what to eat with it.

I like the red and wine mustard idea, was struggling today to make a sauce for my pork loin steak... ended up plain...

B: coffeencream with lemon stracciatella cake :wacky:
L: taramosalata and munchy seeds
D: baked salmon, mange touts onion bhaji and a strange DIY almost-hollandaise. Didn't have time to stop for a recipe hunt. So botched it. Fine at the time, but I'm afraid it has demogrified back into its constituent parts now. Delish though.

Tomorrow is Valentines.
Mr B has declared that the ultimate gustatory delight that he can imagine is a pub breakfast.
(It is an awesome breakfast that happens to be available in a pub...)
Looking forward to it.
I will have the omelette. Served flat, the size of a small dinner plate, with sausage, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms and grated cheese, after flash grilling.

Shouldn't need anything else til dinner. :D If then...

Sounds perfect to me... enjoy... ;) Happy Valentine's.... :)

A nice sauce to go with pork: after you cook the pork and it's resting, a little white wine to de-glaze the pan so you get all the goodness, cook the alcohol off for a bit then stir in cream and wholegrain mustard... :hungry: I caramalise a couple of slices of apple, cored in some butter to have with pork chop too - then de-glaze with cider or wine and a part of a Kallo stock cube, reduce and stir a big knob of butter into it till it's glossy... I like sage so a little goes in too - or rosemary... Now I'm really hungry... :)

I seem to be surviving on M&S cold stuff - poached salmon, smoked salmon canapés, ham, goat's cheese and salad... I did some proper shopping this afternoon, but I'm too jet-lagged to cook, so salad and salmon again... :( I'm going to have berries and lactose-free cream (which will be the first time I've eaten it) and a hot chocolate to take up to bed... I've been awake since 2.30am and I cannot stay awake much longer... :)

B: Green tea with lemon. Coffee with butter whisked in (coconut oil still hasn't arrived). 2 poached eggs with guacamole.
L: Tuna cheese melt with gherkin and tomato
T: Double pepperoni pizza (topping only), with ranch salad (basically coleslaw). Slice of cake with cream (see below)
S: Some pistachios, some jelly and cream and a slice of stracciatella cake - thanks @Brunneria
D: Water and 1 tea with lactofree, diet coke

My menu today:

B: 1min flax bun with ham, cheese, mustard and mayo. Diet coke.
L: 3.5oz pork loin steak, green salad and cream cheese.
S: 2 sips of decaf coffee with a splash of milk... I didn't like (don't know what's happening but all coffee is tasting horrible to me this week)
5 almonds. A teeny tiny piece of 85% chocolate.
D: Baked aubergine (mmmmmm) topped with tomato, avocado, coriander and feta cheese with olive oil and apple cider vinegar. 3oz of tuna.
S: to be decided...

Couldn't face coffee in the morning... because instead of proper cream I was using Elmlea (picked it up quickly at the corner shop... it's NOT cream, is a cream substitute... yuck!!!!!) I think I will be going back to a little bit of milk as I think it doesn't spike me and tastes better.

What did you use for your pizza base?
Have to confess, it's an ASDA create your own stonebake pizza, but I scrape the topping off. It's cheating really but this used to be a weekend staple for us and I couldn't bring myself to break this habit. I'm too lazy to make one but if I did it would be the cauliflour base, I will try it one day!
Don't really miss the bread cause it's the topping that does it for me but I do miss having something to pick it up with e.g the base, now I have to use a knife and fork!:hilarious:

I'm really confused by your pizza... is it real pizza then? I use sliced courgette on baking paper... but yes I normally would love to have proper bread if having a pizza, I'm not keen on any of the substitutes I've tried and can't be bothered with all the cooking for something I won't enjoy... having real pizza though it's just not gonna happen soon...
