This will be a first for me.
I am going to cook roast celeriac, roast swede, roast onion all with a sprinkle of rosemary.
Plus a quorn type veggie burger, and i think i have green beans in freezer.
Yes have already opened the red wine.

On the upside i have not touched the donuts that husband asked me to buy this morning.
On the down side, have eaten too many peanuts while watching rugby.
Not having a good day today, personal problems, depression knockng on the door. Ha Ho
Yeah... bad days are really hard to surf without using bad bad naughty comfort carbs :(... but we can do it!

You trying to make us all hungry? Ooh, snack, forgot I brought some cheese up to bed.....mmmmm
You always make me smile... thank you... :)

Today has been a cheesy day while Mrs D was away kayaking

Having had leftover frittata for breakfast with lots more cheese than the recipe says, and omelette with bacon, mushroom, tomato and lots more cheese I was still craving cheese at teatime BUT I had a portion of veggie broth and 3 veggie hot dog sausages (odd mix but emptying freezer to defrost) - often mix cheese into the veggie broth so it was extra hard to resist....

mehhh2015, I think I got everything I need to make this today. :)

I found a round, microwave safe, 5" dish with 1" sides. Will that work? Do I need to butter and flour the dish first? Curious as to what you use.
I didn't butter mine and it came out ok... a bit damp on the bottom really too... Hmmmm... maybe a heaped tsp of coconut flour in it would sort that out... does anyone else get a soggy bottom? I watched the Comic Relief Bake Off last night... so funny.... :hilarious::hilarious:

It's been two eating out days for me, I can happily report that my diet survived them both :D and my BG's didn't suffer (... feeling proud lol...)

So yesterday I had my normal 1min flax bun with ham and cheese, mayo and mustard, plus a small coffee with lactofree milk.

I skipped lunch while going to the movies... so just had a large diet coke and 10 (literally 10) almonds, that kept me going till valentines dinner.

We went to an indian restaurant: I had an amuse bouche that consisted of a 1" rice and truffle ball, 2oz chicken breast with pineapple rajta, a mid course of a bliny like pancake made out of some chickpea flour and caviar, and a 3oz lamb shoulder in a nice sauce I can't remember what was in it, with wilted spinach...

and NOOO I didn't touch the rice that came with it, neither the naan bread, had no pudding. I had a glass of champagne and a glass of wine.

Before bed I had some parma ham and some manchego cheese.

I used one of my lovely, large coffee cups - it reminds me of a paddling pool when it's full..... :)

Yesterday was

B: divine breakfast omelette at pub - I couldn't finish it.
I. Couldn't. Finish. It.
Unheard of! Nice coffee too.
L: completely unnecessary
S: zip
D: mince, sugarsnaps, caulicheese, sliver of lemon stracciatella

And today:

Skipped breakfast as got up very late.

Late lunch: some olives, parma ham and half a ball of burrata cheese. Steak with tarragon sauce and wilted spinach.

Snack: 1 big frankfurter with mustard.

Haven't had any dinner yet... not feeling terribly hungry... :D

Well, if you insist... ;)

It must have been made in a small (8 or 9 inch frying pan) cos it covered a small dinner plate.
They had made an omelette (3 or 4 eggs, at a guess)
Covered it with chopped bacon, black pudding, award winning sausages, mushrooms and grated cheese
Then flash grilled it.
It looked just like a pizza

I only managed 2/3 of it.
:facepalm::hilarious:

As you say it looks just like a pizza, this could be my new pizza night substitute, thanks @Brunneria :)
Of course!! I can make a larger, thinner plain omelette and pile the top with pizza stuff and stick it under the grill... brilliant... bravo... :joyful:

White bread and donuts !!!
No, but that's what husband asked me to buy at Asda this morning. I said, no! He said the donuts are only 50p.
This is not helping me, I need to stay strong.
I can do this. 31st Jan I was. 78.3 kg. Today 76.7 kg. Not a big drop but it's going in the right direction.
Well done... that's fantastic...:singing: definitely going in the right direction... the opposite direction to the donut counter... :) Tell your husband you'll bring back eggs, sausages and bacon instead... :)

Did you like it? Does it work for you? there are some people that don't like the flax taste...
You're right.... Flax is not my favourite thing, but I'm so terrified of constipation I keep eating it... I make the almond and flax bread in a loaf tin and bake it normally - I fiddled with the recipe for the microwave flax bun though... can't remember what I put in it... when I toasted it the edges were all crispy and crunchy - very nice with Philly cheese and cucumber... :)

I hope your problems melt away.... :( If you like to snack during the rugby, pop your own corn and slather it in butter and a little low salt (if you don't have high blood pressure)... or butter and stevia is nice... or butter and cayenne pepper is nice too... it's not a bad snack funnily enough... don't buy the popcorn with the caramel on though... :) I love the Six Nations... and the tennis... and the F1.... and the cricket.... :)

I know what that's like, I hope you feel better soon

I've eaten tons of cream today, not good
B: berries yoghurt and cream, 2 cups of coffee with cream.
L: berries yoghurt and cream
Felt really tired again today so I went back to bed at 4pm and slept till 8pm :tired:
Selection of cheeses, celery, tomatoes, slice of ham

Drat, missed it, mayb on iPlayer.

Today I had... two espresso with cream... green smoothie with spinach and watercress, goat's yoghurt, handful of blueberries, cinnamon, super greens, two brazil nuts and fenugreek, topped up with pure coconut water... then went out with my sister and mother to my brother's house he's building... then to lunch - seared scallops with butter and chive sauce, tiny green beans and pancetta pieces; monkfish tail with mixed buttered 'good' veg, a forkful of garlic mash and espresso with cream... came home and had a small ripe fig with soft goat's cheese; stripped and re-made my bed, then ate the rest of last night's chicken soup... Hmmm, that sounds like a lot of food... :)
