The 24 spinach leaves made me smile .... I just count by handfuls!!! ;)
Hah! They count peas too.... :) 26 appears to be optimum....

I use to drink a 'certain brand' of instant choc drink, that's back in the days when I use to think low fat and high carb was the only way forward! :sour: now that I know better and my tastebuds have changed so much, I would never touch those sachets of instant drink, they're made up with all sorts of rubbish!
Well said Rose... :) 'Ordinary' mortals don't know what they're missing... :)

Wasn't CADBURY'S by any chance:D:D
Which is now American...:eek::bigtears:... they have changed creme eggs too... and I'm sure they've put loads of chemical rubbish in to make more profit - never mind the quality, feel the buck....

Hehe just realised I have become a senior from a regular! :D

well got up this morning and realised after all my birthday celebrations yesterday I hadnt prepared lunch for work -oops! No soup or breakfast balls left in freezer:(. This could be dangerous as quite often get carb cravings the day after i have drank alcohol.
Had my normall allbran for breakfast but couldnt offset the carbs with my normal boiled egg. Then late morning was starving (as expected) but instead of craving junk food like normal i was craving chicken :singing: yes chicken! What a result. Trotted down to Asda and bought a hot half roast chicken:hungry:. Also got a small pot of raita they do in their indian section-used to love it, about 4g carbs but couldnt eat it all as it was too sweet! Wow don't our tastebuds change :hilarious:. Dinner was shepherds pie with cauli mash. Small bar of dark choc for later. Very good day! x
Excellent!! :) Aren't we amazing...

On holiday again, hurrah!!
Yesterday:
B: can't remember plus coffee with cream
L: chunk of German smoked cheese and four baby toms
D: out for tea: canapés, amuse bouche (mushroom summat or other), beef with an assortment of accompaniments and cauliflower cheese, rhubarb and custard. After all that my bg was only 7 two hours after :-) I think this is due to the fresh cooked produce and quantities of butter!

Today I am going cold turkey on yoghurt and cream. For the first time I have tried coconut oil and butter in my coffee and think this will make a good substitute.

This sounds like a stupid question, but is it safe to take my insulin with just coffee and coconut oil/butter or do I have to have food?

Oh I see, I thought it was another coconut product that I haven't heard of

I've got a humongous tub of coconut oil... Use it in nearly everything... in smoothies, hot drinks, baking, frying ... I've got some in a separate jar to use as hair conditioner and body moisturiser ... Can you tell I love this stuff!!! :D
Me too... :p

Breakfast: Apple crumble and loads of thick squirty cream. Spiked me badly after tea but didn't have the cream.......got away with it
Lunch: half cauliflower bread, fried with one egg and slices of feta cheese yummy (4.3 to 4.8)
Tea: gammon, beans and sausages, few chips, piece of pitta bread - well stuffed and 5.3 post 3 hours - if I did spike I dropped well in the hour from 2 to 3hrs
Snacks: tiny bit of rum & raisin fudge, can't remember anything else today
2 soya lattes & numerous cups of tea

Do you have any idea why you might not be losing weight?

(Yes, there was a great dollop of irony in there.....)

Breakfast bacon, one egg scrambled spelt toast
Lunch bacon and mushroom frittata from deli with salad and coleslaw
Snack 2 sq dark chocolate decaff cappuccino
Dinner out at course till late so probably tuna salad

Hi all.

B: 2 boiled eggs, coffee with cream.
L: salad of spinach, cherry tomatoes, olives, bit of Parmesan and a few sunflower seeds, with olive oil / balsamic. Was out otherwise I'd have fatted up the salad a bit as I ended up eating a few of my son's chips.
Snack: almonds, little bit of cheddar.
Dinner: a BK triple cheeseburger without the bun. (Was on the road). And about a third of a portion of fries as my husband "helpfully" snaffled all the rest. Then 2 glasses white wine as was at an event.

In the afternoon I was exhausted and freezing. Tested and I was 4.3 which normally leaves me feeling quite well. My toddler just had "slapped cheek" so I wonder if I have the virus too. They say it causes joint pain and my carpal tunnel was flaring up badly. Haven't had it since I was pregnant.
Oh god really hope I am not pregnant as I have 2 under 2 already!

Wow... good luck... :)

...can't remember anything else... sounds like the cauli brea

How nice... :)
The cauli bread is a whole cauliflower, 100gs of cheese and 3 eggs - herbs and garlic added. So not many calories in that really even for half.....
