My post wasn't designed to bring moderator activity to the thread, just asking people to think about their post content a bit before posting. I'm as guilty as anyone for going off track.....
No problem with your posts AB :)

5.6 here, off on hols :D but with work :(

5.4 this morning - a bit stressed as various issues getting people out of the house on time!

6 at 5:30am, and 6 at 8:30am (2 hours post breakfast, and immediately post 15 minute walk from station to work).

Is it just me?

I have pretty much stopped posting on this thread. I know I have written longer than necessary, chatty posts on here in the past, but I'm finding this thread increasingly both off-topic, and difficult to follow. Is there any chance we could be mindful of the thread topic and maybe post around that, or at least more closely allied to that?

Obviously, it's not my thread, forum or anything like that. I'm just venting a little frustration.
Hi @AndBreathe, I tried to bring this up once before because I found it very difficult to see the real posts from the chatter. Its not that I mind the chatter and people going off topic occasionally - but it detracts me from sometimes from seeing how well people are doing... this thread is my morning motivation.

Good morning all. 4.5 this morning after a post-dinner reading of 4.7

<edit> Some excellent readings this morning. Well done to all.

Regarding the meandering - on other forums I have seen people start their post with <Off Topic> if it's not relevant to the thread. Gives people a quick heads up to avoid the post if they don't want to read it.

I think we are pretty good on here. Most people post readings in the morning or early afternoon after which there can be some chat but that's all part of the knowledge share. It would get a bit boring if the thread was just numbers only.

I'm also finding it difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff. I do love to see how well everyone is doing, and to offer a little support when needed. It is also part of my morning motivation, but feel things are getting swamped at the moment. I enjoy a bit of friendly chit chat and banter as much as the rest, but like you I feel too much of it can be distracting.

5.1 at bedtime
5.3 this morning

6 this morning - bad night's sleep and woke up from really vivid dream involving my dead granny, heights and bloke turning into a bear. Is this diabetes related and if so why did no one tell me- I'd have stopped my bedtime cheese.

Fasting
yesterday 6.2
today 5.9

I seem to have started getting more low readings again all round, after a too long period of unacceptably high to me levels - mainly due to feeling under the weather for months.

Robbity

PS I also gave up reading for a while as I was another who didn't want to/ have time to wade through general chat...

Sorry... 6.0

My mum used to tell us kids no cheese for supper or you'll have wild horses dancing on your chests ::))
