Uh . . . You're not the Dr. Taylor by chance, are you?
No I am not, I am a 23 year old man from Norway. I do not have diabetes, but I have several in my family with severe obesity, and diabetes. My aunt which I love dearly, has type 2 diabetes, and severe obesity. But here is the strange thing. My mother is 172 cm and weighs 138 kg, but DOES NOT HAVE DIABETES. My aunt is much slimmer but still has it. Also, my parents are divorced, and my father a eyesurgeon MD with a Phd, has a new woman now, and she got diabetes type 2. However, she is really skinny.
I am not saying everyone that has diabetes are obese, or that anyone who got is lazy. I just find it very interesting, especially come how everybody says obesity is the cause of diabetes.
Since I am very interested in weight loss, I went from 110 kg to 74 kg in two months in 2014 through intermittent fasting, I am 188cm tall , and diabetes, because of my relatives and loved ones, I came over Roy Taylor and Jason Fung.
And since is just happens that they are holding an hour long interview on this website:
http://thediabetessummit.com/vjhyui/ which is only free for 24 hours, I thought it nice to spread the word.
BTW I have an awesome respect for anyone trying the newcastle diet, and I am very impressed by the threadstarter, and everyone else doing this.
Maybe I should start a thread with this?
