Fasting p this morning to 6.7 - probably due to stress - sodding $%&* husband thinks I should oblige him and eat cornflour because it's more convenient for him if he wants to thicken food :eek: - my refusal to accept this resulted in him more or less telling me I was clueless low carb wise. :banghead: :banghead::banghead:

I expect my blood pressure's through the roof now too.... And NO - I don't feel like being sensible and calming down just yet!

Can you see the high carb steam coming out of my ears?? :D
and us men thought we were the only ones ever to be misunderstood !

An analysis of sugar levels in cider, sherry and spirits found that some drinks contained as many as five teaspoons of sugar in a single serving. By contrast wines and beer contained significantly smaller quantities.

Jack, I think you need to delete the headings! The stuff underneath doesn't relate to them. ;)

What am I saying, I'm a man too.

Meal times can be quite challenging sometimes...... :-)

Yes - but mainly when they're ignorant, bloody minded, instant expert, know-it-alls. However I do find some of them quite human particularly when I get a bit of understanding and sympathy from them... :p

5.2 but it was a very late test as I had meetings all morning so didn't test until mid day though it was a "fasting" test as I hadn't had anything to eat.

Unfortunately I think the inside maybe allowable....however the pastry is to die for....but given this condition I don't think I'm prepared to pay THAT price

and as for the chips that I used to scoop the innards out with....hmmm

Step away from the pies!!!! :cat:
