I'm sure there's more.
Many are predicting that it will come in almost overnight right across Europe and no you won't have voted on it or been consulted about it in any way shape or form.
Financial totalitarianism is upon us.
The winners of course will be banks and government with the people suffering more loss of voice and influence.

When we were first married my wife and I lived in a cashless society. We didn't have any.

The wife never uses cash ! I on the other hand cannot shop without cash !

The truly cashless society means you cannot pull your money out of the bank.
There can never again be a run on the bank.
You can't put something to one side for a rainy day.
You won't be able to purchase items not allowed by the powers that be.
Giving your friend fifty pounds for her birthday will only be possible by transferring some of your digits to their account.
They will be taxed on it as income.
Every transaction will incur a charge.
Become a protester or anti government type and your digits can easily be turned off.
Wish I could explain it better but it isn't good .... unless you're a banker of course.
See if I can find a good explanation .....

Well it's taken its time. I wrote my extended essay (for HNC Business Studies) on this subject in 1980!
