Run/walk - Land's End to John o' Groats VIRTUALLY!

8km/5mile for you old farts out there, run today in appalling conditions in Aberdeen.

Remaining 841.1 outdated illogical units;)
 
No running today, too many meetings.

Three miles walked (approx)

Tested out some hiking poles. So Elham and back. 14.7 miles Run/walk.

Only a mere 826.4 miles to go.
 
Is that Elham I Kent? I have relatives that live there.

walked the dog another couple of miles today.

Walked around supermarket. Well staggered holding trolley. Big supermarket, at leadt a mile trolley stagger/walk.

That was day one of C class, Great Lakeland 3 Day - thoroughly recommended event - see http://www.greatlakeland3day.com/ Excellent value, even if you have to pay for entry [I got free entry, as I've volunteered in this and similar events], as it includes excellent laminated maps, camping on Fri night, transport of camping kit between overnight stops; free tea, coffee, beer, cider, cake at overnight camps; finishers' meal with more tea, coffee etc.

3 mile walk with the dog. So we're down to 803.2 miles to go.

Who's going to get us under 800?
 
Last night I walked to the polling station and back twice (grown up kids wanted mummy with them) which was about 1.5 miles and did about the same distance this morning with the dog so 3 in total which takes us to 800.2
 
Raining tonight, got wet ealrier in the week so the run turned into a turbo trainer session

still 800.2
 
But I managed 0.5 in the rain.

799.7 remain.
