5.2 again this morning, which appears to be my new "norm". One thing that gradually increasing my carbs has done though is kick me out of ketosis at 50g / day of carbs (which seems quite low to me). I need to re-evaluate my whole regime now and decide which way to go next :)

Haha! I fantasise about reaching this stage :) I guess you need to watch your weight and post-meal numbers.

7.0 mmol / L this morning.
5.7 mmol / L at bed time.

Dissapointed with that - had hoped to be in late 5s or early 6s. Hey, ho!
Suspect quality of sleep and time of testing possibly past dawn phenomenon.

3.8 this morning. I was very good at a birthday party though I did have 3 x JD's and diet coke. Avoided all the carbs in the food. 3.1 mile Park Run yesterday.
Is that very low though? I would be shaking at that level... Are you doing too much? I hope you get your laptop back soon...

Hi bit late in the day but better late than never, fasting result this morning was 5.7. Been to the hospital today to see Diabetic Doctor, who was very pleased with my progress and does not want to see me again unless the Kidney Transplant Doctor refers me to him. I will continue to be seen for my diabetes by my DN, happy days. Update, just got my HbA1c result today it was 41 equivalent to 6.8 or 5.9%.
All good news... :) Excellent... Except the bit about the kidney transplant of course... hope you stay well...

Very late (pm!) fasting test today: 6.7
after a bedtime reading of 6.9

Liver must have given up hope and gone off to sulk - I'm not up and down so much these last two days - just up and flat, so grateful for small mercies:
7.1-> 7.3, 6.9->7.6, 6.9,
6.7->7.3, 6.9
Rightly or wrongly: I'd rather see this than being all over the place...

Robbity

Think I agree , I hate it when I get sudden spikes would much rather nice steady curves

I see you are on lots of meds but are you doing anything with your diet carb-wise?
I'm trying to cut down my carbs and eat more fruit and vegs. Am used to low fat diet with Slimming World, and can't do high fat because of high cholesterol, so I used to eat lots of pasta and rice dishes. Don't do S W any more as am way below target and don't want to lose any more weight. Am trying to get to the gym 3x per week, so maybe the new tablets will kick in soon, have only been on them for 2 weeks and also testing for same length of time. Perhaps I'm being impatient.
