Still lovingy break from
pumping. A hiccup getting degludec but am now on far less basal insulin than I was on pump. At night I am now down to 6 units and 8 units max daytime. Still having some liws at night so looks like I can go even lower with night basal. My waking DP isn't too bad with 2 units of bolus. Levels tend to be kept under 8.0 so this is good enough for me currently.
I love having bath and being able to jump straight in and take as long as I like.
Went to gym this week and my levels have to be tested before duringand 1 hour after (i text my personsl trainer one hour later). If they go below 4.4 I am not allowed to carry on training. However they were 7.0 pre training 5.6 1/2 way through and (one gluco juice then) were 6.3 after and 5.6 one hour after. So that was briliant.
My DSN reckons I should have 6-12 months off it.
I currently can't see me going back on it.
