2015/16 Football Season

Well the FL have given us a horrendous journey for Tuesdays evening kick off 7.45 tomorrow

Just a hop down the road to Plymouth:eek:

Bonkers like:(

Totally bonkers!

They just blame the fixture computer!!

We are having quite a few derbies for a change this season!
Something that has been missing in the last few years!

Can get to three of these using my bus pass!

Southport, Chester and Wrexham!

Altrincham the first a week on Saturday! Expecting a big following that day!

Southport Chester & Wrexham all ex league

We used to have Barrow & Workington Reds as league derbies but they have been absent from the league for ages I don't know how old you are but do you remember them being league sides?. We don't have a derby now really.

Well Radio Cumbria will be on at 7pm full match commentary for Plymouth v Carlisle, life is so exciting LOL

Listened to Liverpool v Bournemouth last night and feel really sorry for Bournemouth. From what the commentators said they should have won 0-1. Another case of refs favouring home teams/bigger clubs? Bournemouth were all over Liverpool in the opening minutes of the game and thoroughly deserved their goal. Wonder how many more problems there will be with the new offside rule too?

I'm old enough (ahem) to remember New Brighton!!!!
Yes Workington, and Barrow, been to Barrow but not Workington!

That was us for a few seasons, no real derbies, Stockport until their demise was our closest for years. Then probably Crewe and Port Vale.

We won a hard fought battle last night which put us in second place!
Back to back home wins! My mate reckoned it would never happen again!
Looking for a third home win this Saturday! Woohoo!

Not fun going all way down to Plymouth to get a battering!

Do I have to say owt?
Shocking!

But then not surprising!

We've had fun with liners already at Rovers!

I listened to the match commentary on Radio Cumbria and we had the better of the 1st half hitting the woodwork twice, overall stats had 46% possession for Plymouth and 54% for us, shots on target 7 a piece

Still it's goals that count:rolleyes:

Credit to the 169 who travelled

Well theres something that we didnt expect and im sure Leeds and Bristol fans didnt either. Leeds went 2-0 up and near the end Bristol pulled 2 back. Shock of the day :D:D

Going for Rovers third consecutive win tomorrow.
This is something that has not happened in such a long long time!
Looking forward to it and the club is going the right way and the support is coming back!
5000 + Tuesday night, hoping, for more tomorrow!
That's a big crowd for the level we are in!
C'mon Rovers!

Ok this weekend predictions, not so bad last week!

Man utd, hammers, swans, palace to win and draws for the others!

City, Chelsea, and saints to win Sunday.
Gooners to win Monday!

Terriers to lose, Fulham to draw!

Forfar to win,( dreamt that one the other night!)

Have a good footballing weekend lads n lasses;)

We have Wimbledon up here at BP tomorrow and last seasons fixture up here saw the teams play out a 4-4 draw
I don't think my ticker could stand that again, I nearly wet myself last weekend when it was 4-4 v Cambridge
