Hello guys
Lately my PLBS level keeps fluctuating...one day it is high...and one day it is low...
So I had this idea of creating a thread for this....
we can comment what's our BG level one or two hours after meal and if we are ok with or not...
I hope this works and might be helpful for everyone...

I'll start

Today it was 8.7 mmol for me...which is okay

Post lunch was 5.2 .... Pre lunch was 5.6
Had homemade gluten free n vegan Waffle sticks with real Canadian maple syrup, a nice treat

I've been feeling unwell for a few days, so I decided to test an hour or so after my breakfast (13.2) I rarely test, because I've been led to believe that testing is not needed when you are on Metformin. On the occasions I've tested before, I've never been as high as this, even after a high carb meal. Had I not tested, I would not have been aware of this rise.

Pre breakfast 5.1 ...post breakfast 6.1
Pre Lunch....6.1....post lunch 5.2...............getting some very strange readings these days...palpitations and heart rate of 120 beats a minute whilst sitting down...pounding in my chest....readings all over the place and not sure what's going on

Mine was 5.2 after lunch of 2 slices boiled ham+ 1/4spanish tortilla

morning bs was 15.1 after lunch of 2 slices wholemeal toast was 27.4 not feeling great today, breathless headachy and tired nothing new then lol

@muggle666 15.1 is very hig for fbg....and maybe that wholemeal bread just doesn't work for you?....most don't eat any kind of bread for exactly the reason that showed up in your post lunch check....it spiked you badly as it is loaded with way too many carbs. Are you on medication ??

yes im type 1, forgot to mention that sorry, the readings are normal for me at the mo, dn has started me on new insulin but will take mths to lower it, has to be very slowly,
