Type of diabetes

Treatment type
I do not have diabetes
Have just noticed that my partner has taken his morning medications twice today rather than his evening medications....am not too worried about the blood pressure tablets as don't think they will do too much harm but am concerned that he has effectively taken a double dose of forxiga so 2 x 10mg rather than the daily maximum of 10mg...
...have just google searched 'Forxiga overdose' and am a bit concerned....what should I do...
....and based on this should I suggest that he doesn't take the forxiga tomorrow morning......

Check with 111 as DD says. What sort of system does he use for managing pills? Does he use pill containers marked for time of day and day of week?

@CatLadyNZ ....he does use pill containers and I put pills in them for morning and evening....is perfectly obvious which are which (the more colourful ones are the morning ones).....problem is he just doesn't think...I was out yesterday and evening so wasn't around when he took them. ....

Spoke to pharmacist this morning and he advised to miss today's dose and restart tomorrow....any potential side effects of overdose should have been felt by now....problem is will never now as he is asleep and I was asleep during night so wouldn't have known...just checked and no bs readings taken since yesterday morning so could have fallen substantially but will never know...can only assume all is ok at the moment. Have taken tablet out of box for today and left note...will be out by the time he gets up and takes them....

Also took opportunity to ask pharmacist about testing with ketone sticks (discussed in other posts)....he reckoned he should be testing three or four times a week while on Forxiga especially when I told him bs readings were in mid to high teens.......problem is my partner says that diabetic nurse has told him he doesn't need to use them.....who do I believe....for all I know nurse has told him he must test but he has chosen to ignore this .....told pharmacist that I would have to get a medical professional to tell my partner as he just won't listen to me......can feel a phone call with diabetic nurse is coming on to sort this one out....just want to get the facts straight before our holiday in October...

Also concerned as I need to be away in London for a couple of nights to accompany my son to a medical procedure in about 10 days time....if he can get his medication so wrong on a day when I am just out for the day what is he going to be like when left for three days to his own devices....:(

Don't need all of this today.....:(
