Hi Mep, I'm sorry to hear of all the problems you have had. I do find the same, tend to get the 'morning rush' and the decision of whether I can manage to get of the house and to work before I need the loo. I'll look at the FODMAP diet and see whether it can help. The list of food triggers that affect bowel movement both diarrhoea or constipation seems to grow every week. I've also started to get acid reflux as well. Originally my metformin was reduced as I was taking 1000mg in the morning and my stomach couldn't tolerate that so I was reduced down to 1000 Mg and 5 mg Saxagliptin. Unfortunately my BG levels increased and in the end I was moved back on to 2000 mg and I take them after my evening meal. It's great when I'm on holiday, the first thing I look at when I'm touring round is where the toilets are!!!
