I am trying to decide if my exercise class on Wednesday evenings is causing higher bedtime levels. They are not really high usually between 6.5 and 7.0 two hours after dinner, so not worried as they are under 7.8. Just curious.
I go to a 45 minute dance class, quite high intensity, from 7.00 - 7.45 by the time I get home and shower it is usually 8.30 before I eat. Tonight I had the left overs from last nights dinner, stuffed aubergines and salad, 2 hours after dinner last night my BG was 5.8 tonight It was 6.5. It led me to checking my Wednesday after dinner readings and they are all mid to high 6's. I thought exercise was supposed to reduce glucose levels, Thursday morning fasting levels are between 6 -6.5. Do you think these higher readings are because of the dance class? And if so does anyone know why?
