New boss Remi Garde watched from the stands as Aston Villa lost at Tottenham to suffer a club record-equalling seventh straight Premier League defeat.

Garde had barely taken his seat when Mousa Dembele went unchallenged before beating Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan.

Hopefully, this can get sorted soonest before it impacts to much on the pitch.
If over before January transfer window, could bring in some needed quality!

Well we battled well with Reading twice we went ahead and twice they came back and we ended up sharing the points. Leeds won and jumped back ahead of us. Next comes the big battle between us and Leeds on Saturday. We owe them a thrashing as they thrashed us twice last year.

Chris Powell: Huddersfield Town sack manager
Huddersfield Town have sacked boss Chris Powell after just three league wins this season.

The 46-year-old former Charlton boss was appointed Terriers manager in September 2014 and guided them to safety in the Championship last season.

However, Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Reading saw them drop to 18th in the table.

Town assistant Alex Dyer has also left the club, so academy manager Mark Lillis has been put in temporary charge for the game against Leeds on Saturday.

Terriers chief executive Nigel Clibbens said in a statement: "We have decided to make this change after very careful deliberation.

"It is made with the long term interests of the club in mind. It signals a change of direction by the club and a new approach.

The manager merry go round in full swing!

Yeah i think that has to be a record. I know we sacked Stan Ternent in a short period of time he came to us in April 2008 and was gone by 4th November after a disasterous start to the season. We have sacked god knows how many managers over the last few years. :D

Rumours are flying round that we may get David Wagner at Huddersfield. Jurgen Klopp has been wanting him to join him at Liverpool but Wagner wants to be the engine driver so to speak. Watch this space for more info on that one. What ever happens Mark Lillis will be in charge for the Big Derby game on Saturday. :)

David Wagner named new Huddersfield Town head coach
Huddersfield Town have appointed former Borussia Dortmund coach David Wagner as their new head coach.

The 44-year-old replaces Chris Powell, who was sacked on Wednesday with Town 18th in the Championship table.

So there you have it we have got him. Heres hoping he does something with us. UTT :):watching::singing:

Because of the forum not being on I was keeping an eye on how our youth did at Burnden Park in youth fa cup. We lost in extra time 3-2.
A miracle escape, is how it's being described around here!
