Any low carb bread in Netherlands?

Thanks to both of you for your kind help @JoKalsbeek and @Antje77. I made it through on low carb rolls, plenty of cheese and the odd dry wine or vodka with diet mixer. I did have to try a Groningen speciality of a boiled egg wrapped in something (maybe thick mustard sauce?) and deep fried. Delicious

Any low carb bread in Netherlands?

Oh no, I don’t like drop either! I have found the lower carb rolls, and plenty of cheese. Also cheese pops, they look like popcorn but made out of cheese. Now if I can only avoid the Belgian beer bar I will be fine.

Any low carb bread in Netherlands?

Thank you @Antje77 that dense bread looks good. I definitely have AH and Jumbo near me, but I haven’t seen an Aldi or Lidl. I am right in the middle of town, I wonder if they are likely to be a bit further out of town. I am in Groningen. I should have mentioned I’m vegetarian, so the sausages...

Any low carb bread in Netherlands?

A quick question for the Dutch members. I am off to The Netherlands for a quick trip, and I seem to remember mention a while back of low carb bread in Albert Heijn shops? Can anyone let me know what it’s called so I can look out for it please? Any other suggestions for things to try also...

For my next endeavour (pancake recipes please)

I really like Queen Keto's recipes. I haven't tried her pancakes, but the recipe is adapted from her Yorkshire puddings which are the best I have ever had. I can't post the link but if you Goggle Queen Keto crepes it should come up. They have lupin flour in them, I got mine from Morrison's but...

Low carb food from chains (vege)

I am out and about for work today and thought you might like to see my late lunch Subway salad box. The thinks that look like tubs of sauce are in fact poached eggs.

Low carb food from chains (vege)

I get a Subway salad box. Loads of lettuce with your choice of veggies, cheese and sauce. Failing that the small Tescos usually have a Greek salad, which can be made more substantial by the addition of mini babybel.

    Christmas Treats?

I get the Bfree protein wraps from Sainsbury or Tesco. They are about £3.80 for a packet of 4, so expensive but worth it to me for the convenience for the days I am in the office and need lunch. Only around 4g of carbs per wrap.

I like Forrest Feast dark chocolate salted almonds from Sainsbury's they hit the right sweet/salty spot for me, though have more carbs than I would like at 30.9g per 100g.
