    Lowered HbA1c

In July last year my dad needed to have heart bypass surgery and so I decided I would change my diet completely. I have lost 2 1/2 stone and my HbA1c in December was normal. For the last 2 years it has been abnormal so I am pleased of myself. I will find out the actual number on Friday when I...

    Medical Bracelets

I think they are a great idea. I am Type II and not on insulin. I think I would only get one if I was on insulin.

    Peirced ears

Hi No I didn't have any problems. It was a bit sore but I was told to put the stuff on that they give you. Did they give or sell you any solution to put on afterwards? Where did you go to have it done?

    Metformin

Does anyone else have any problems with Metformin slow release? I have been on it for 3 weeks twice a day and I thought it was great and working for me but after starting the second tablet the second day I started with the stomach ache and the 'needing to go' feelings again. Back to docs...

ask to leave work as had no insulin or meter.

Wow I work for the NHS and we have smart cards for our computers and our bosses have allowed people to go home to get it and then return! I would say your insulin is more important than a smart card.

    Peirced ears

I went for my healed holes redoing in April of this year and they healed really quickly. I never had a problem with piercing. Go for it.
