My question would be, why have you got to start using one if you don’t want to. There are many people who would love one but are unable to have one as they don’t fit the criteria.
It lasts more than twenty four hours. Thirty six hours plus. It is very forgiving if you forget a dose. Drawback being you have to allow two-three days for effects from changes carried out. You couldn’t for example have different amounts for weekends/weekdays/exercise days.

Hi @GuidingSenses I too am on Tresiba and it is a pretty forgiving insulin, as it remains in the system for a couple of days. Which is why when you make dosage changes it takes a while to see the effect. In view of that I personally feel a three hour difference with injections over the weekend...
I always pre cook pasta cool quickly by running under water and plunging into boiling water. It has made a huge difference to the amount of insulin I require.
It is solely available in the US at the moment. Awaiting approval by the health authorities in the UK and Europe. Was only just watching U Tube videos on it yesterday.
