Dexcom One+ sensor Bluetooth device ID

Just in case anyone's wondering... I'm now on my 3rd Dexcom One+ CGM sensor, and last night I set up the new one. I did the usual pairing and then had a moment of panic when it asked if I wanted to pair with device DX02.. - I just tapped yes without thinking. Of course, my phone now has 3 IDs...

Tesco Finest Spelt and Rye Sliced Loaf - naughty!

Yes, the Real Bread Campaign has been on a seemingly-endless quest to get rid of "Sour-faux" bread - they need to keep going! This is why I bought a table-top grain mill and made my loaf from scratch. Sadly I don't eat enough bread now to warrant this, and it's one thing I really miss

Tesco Finest Spelt and Rye Sliced Loaf - naughty!

I'm pre-diabetic, and I've made a concerted effort to change my diet and eat as low-carb food as possible. However, I allow myself a slice of sourdough bread every so often and my favourite is (was) the Tesco Finest Spelt and Rye Sliced Loaf. I don't mind splurging 22g of carbs occasionally...

    Bread recipe change causing spikes?

Yes it was the cherry tomatoes! I did a test yesterday without them, and my levels were pretty much back to normal. I'll need to really cut down on them now (or maybe cut them out).

    Bread recipe change causing spikes?

Quite possible - I bought a different variety this time, so that could well be it. I'll try the salad tomatoes instead.

    Bread recipe change causing spikes?

I can run the same "test" without the tomatoes - sounds like a plan!

    Bread recipe change causing spikes?

Bread.. yes, I know... but since I started my low(er) carb diet about a month ago I've been able to eat a slice of Tesco in-store-baked rye/spelt sourdough once a week for breakfast. My levels have been relatively stable, averaging around 6.1 mmol/L. Today however I had my toasted slice with a...

Anyone's GP aware of their clinic ID for CGM data sharing?

Yeah, I'm not realistically expecting anyone other than me to monitor my levels, but access to historic data I feel would be useful. I should probably just use the Clarity app to generate and print some reports.

Anyone's GP aware of their clinic ID for CGM data sharing?

That's a shame .. one of the very rare occasions I actually want to share health data with someone and they can't accept it. Mind you, I can still print out summary charts and other data when I go for my followup.

Anyone's GP aware of their clinic ID for CGM data sharing?

Hmmm.. I'll phone the practice and explain. Watch this space!

Anyone's GP aware of their clinic ID for CGM data sharing?

I was hoping to get some feedback from my GP practice regarding my CGM data results, and both Dexcom and Abbott web sites suggested I get my GP's clinic ID and set it up. I just tried to get that information from my GP practice and they haven't got the faintest idea what I'm talking about: I'm...

4th week into diet - no longer feeling hunger pangs

As soon as I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic I started my lower/low-carb diet literally the next day. Typically I'll have been 80-100gm carbs a day. I'm now in my 4th week and have noticed that besides the weight loss I'm normally no longer feeling hunger pangs between meals. I'm also starting to...

    Dexcom ONE+ free trial

The Libre app is very appealing and makes good use of colour, I agree. I'll be interested to see how get on with it - are you an Android user? You're right about the lack of NFC - no more weird positioning of my phone under my armpit :) - although if I bring the phone close to the sensor it...
