    Insulin neuritis

Sorry, I'm just now seeing this. Mine has not cleared 100%, but its to a very tolerable level now. There are days when I don't notice it at all, and others where it flares up a bit. All in all, its manageable. Thanks for asking! Hoping your situation improves soon. It takes time.

Does this sound like Neuropathy? Sudden burning sensations in upper legs following improved glucose control.

I have had muscle twitching for years. Don't know if it is diabetes related, as it started well before diagnosis. It's annoying! Any remedy suggestions?

I had the same. Still do, but its better than in the beginning for sure. Came on suddenly upon lowering blood sugar rapidly.

How many had Covid even though had all their jabs

Hard to know what Covid did and did not cause. I am about two weeks removed from having it. My legs feel heavy and stiff, especially in the morning.

How many had Covid even though had all their jabs

I had the original two shots, but no boosters since. That was in 2021. I just had covid last month, and it lasted about 3 weeks. Coughing, stopped up, tired. Better now, but blood sugar numbers are still running higher. Anyone else experience this?

Long Covid. A support thread for those who take a while to recover from Covid-19

I had Covid that lasted 3 weeks or so. I’ve felt better the last week or two since, but blood sugar numbers are still running 30 - 40 percent higher. Is this common? How long until they normalize?

Neurologist diagnosed with me insulin neuritis, so can it be possible to be too effective?

This happened to me as well. I lowered my A1C from 8.3% at diagnosis to 5.2% in four months or so. My vision got blurry not long in to it, which really scared me. However, it all adjusted fine in a week to ten days. I also developed a burning pain in both feet that came on suddenly. It was...

Does this sound like Neuropathy? Sudden burning sensations in upper legs following improved glucose control.

Glad you are doing better! I’m still trying to determine what caused this flare up. A couple of weeks ago I was at a convention in Las Vegas and to walked for miles. I was pleased that I had little to no discomfort. Here I am a couple of weeks later and my feet are burning again. Hoping...

Does this sound like Neuropathy? Sudden burning sensations in upper legs following improved glucose control.

Yes, I got this too. I dropped my A1C of 8.5 at diagnosis down to 5.2 about four months later. Suddenly, I got a burning feet sensation. Didn't have numbness or tingling or anything noticeable at all prior to lowering my glucose levels so quickly. The first few months were pretty terrible...

Good to hear you are doing so well with your A1C. Yeah, give it time and hopefully it will continue to improve. I had the zaps in my feet, but that only lasted a couple of weeks. Today my feet felt great all day, but they hurt some after playing basketball. Not too bad overall though.

    TIND

Yes, better but not 100%. It's been 3 1/2 years now, but it has slowly gotten better each year. I still have flare ups, especially after doing a lot of walking, but it is manageable. I don't know if I will get to 100% normal again, but its much better. Thanks for asking!

Twitching And Fasciculations In Calf Muscles

I would like to hear more as well. I started getting muscle twitching over 6 years ago. I can get them just about anywhere. Saw a neurologist, and everything checked out ok on EMG, etc. I'm still searching for something to stop them. I don't think they are related to diabetes, but who...
