Has anyone been able to reverse neuropathy?

Mine came on suddenly after quickly lowering my blood sugar levels back in to the normal range. No symptoms when I was diagnosed. Burning in my feet came on suddenly about 6 weeks after normalizing my levels. That was 7 years ago. It was awful at first, got about 50% better after a month or two, and gradually got better over the years. Still, it remains with me today, although it varies. I can go weeks without it bothering me much, and then it comes back. Even in my fingertips some, which get a prickly type feeling.

Anyway, I haven't really figured out what triggers it. My levels haven't been perfect, but I haven't been back in the diabetic range since 2019. Looking for some success stories!

My neuropathy was pretty bad for six or seven years - I had the burning feet thing regularly at night from 2013 onwards with rising BG and it ruined my sleep.

That all went almost immediately in 2020 as my BG became normal again. I have some residual tingle which I accept is probably permanent damage, but it's not "pain" or even discomfort. So my experience is therefore - normal BGs equals no neuropathy.
