Hello All
I've just got my latest HBA1C results back and it has jumped by a lot for me from my last result. I was diagnosed as diabetic in July 2021 when my result was 50. I'm on Ozempic and Metformin for Diabetes. I lost my dad in February 2022.
I'm just wondering what can contribute to...
The receptionist at the GP surgery said they were provisional yesterday but that might have been because they hadn't been reviewed yet.
I'm not worried by someone helping but this is all new to me and just curious what happens in these situations.
Good Afternoon All
I was pre-diabetic up until May 2021 when my HBA1C jumped to 50. It was still 50 in July 2021 and I've just had November's back as 46 (Provisional and needs a diabetic nurse review).
I've been on Metformin 2 500 tablets a day and I started Ozempic 0.5 in September 2021 and...
I did my half marathon in April and came out fresh as a daisy and could have done another one.
I did my long run of 8km yesterday and I have had to have 2 naps already today as I feel so drained. I'm not sure it is CFS (which I've been diagnosed as having) but I'm wondering if it's something...
My overnight blood sugar levels are higher than at any other point in the day and they are within the normal range during the day (although I do take metformin).

My oral...

Anyhow I now have the results...
It was a very expensive appointment at just shy of £400 but I think it was definately worth the extra cost to have it properly explained (which it seems might not have been done before). I have the headache today which is so annoying. I'm reducing the testing from Monday back to 3 then hopefully...
2 hours post lunch is 6.2 so it might be the 'hypo' symptoms that you mentioned. I think it is just related to the change as nothing else has changed since Thursday so I'll just sit on the surf board and ride it out.
Just 2 metformin a day. The endocrinologist from Wednesday said to up to 4 but I'm worried about doing that straight away and I might just ride it out and see what happens over the next few weeks and make the call then.
Good Morning All
I have been pre-diabetic for around 3 years but my last HBA1C was 50 (May 2021) which had jumped from 44 a few months beforehand.
I saw a different endocrinologist on Wednesday 9th June who has given me the wake up call that my body just can't handle carbs anymore and we need...
