    re-call of test srips

    I just caught the other night on BBC news it was scrolling across the bottom that 1.7 million test strips for glucose testing have been re called owing to them giving false readings, Did anyone see this and have you heard anything ?

    Bit disapointed newly diagnosed, only had four, this one was 44, the others had been 43,42,41. I am a male aged 76 is that result anything to be concerned about ? and what have I been doing wrong to make it go up, I am at the moment on diet only.
